I'm sure parents noticed the wet and muddy clothes after Pre Cuboree camp.
Just thought I better let you in on the secret why...

JOTT was attended by a smaller number of dedicated members and their mums this year with 2 Joeys, 7 Cubs and 1 Scout in attendance. We could not have asked for more beautiful weather and scenery.
We look forward to next year’s hike as it will be hard to top this location.

April 27th, saw the cubs participate in Scouts in Action week, an initiative organised by St. Johns Ambulance. We were very luck and give thanks to our local St. Johns Ambulance members who attended on the night.
The paramedics brought 7 Resusci Anne dolls to the great delight of the cubs to teach them CPR skills. Excitement heightened at the end of the night when the cubs were allowed to explore the ambulance vehicles themselves.

When: May 8th Time: 10am – 1pm. Where: Lal Lal Falls Reserve, Harris Rd side.
What is JOTT? Jamboree On The Trail is an annual day for the World Scout Movement to hike together.
What are we doing? We are hiking on an adventurous but safe walk of 5.6 km which will lead us along a gorge formed by a collapsed lava tunnel. The hike will be starting on the opposite side of Lal Lal Falls reserve in Harris Rd. On completion of the hike we will be returning to the Lal Lal falls reserve for a BBQ lunch. All family members are welcome and we are looking forward to seeing you there.
What to bring? A drink bottle and some snacks. (No Nuts)
How to get there? Go straight out Eureka St to Lal Lal, turn left then right over the railway tracks and follow the signs.
